They should be. The Reformer/Alliance core that's leading the PC's have completely alienated the social left of the Torrie base. The best way I can describe the Conservatives at the moment is that they are the 2009-10 Calgary Flames. This is their one last kick at the can with that core, and then that entire party has to be purged because they are so unlikeable and have so little trust from the Canadian population in their representation of Canada.
This will be a devastating loss for the Torries tonight, and we'll have to see them completely reinvent themselves to become more of the Joe Clark era Conservatives if they want a chance at bringing back the Red Torries into thier fold.
