A Liberal/NDP coalition to gain power might be distasteful, but it's close enough ideologically to not be something unusual. A CPC/NDP coalition? That'd be pretty ####ed up I'm sure you'd agree.

No I don't think there is much difference at all between an agreement between the LP/NDP or CPC/NDP to pass legislation. There are enough similarities in all policies to see where it would make sense, or where some horse trading could be done.
If the Liberal and NDP parties are 85% identical... why have two parties? I strongly disagree with that assumption!
