The injury to Sanders will be something to watch. Used to be that you could put anyone on the field and Peyton Manning could make them look like a bonafide NFL receiver. It's not really the case this year so if Sanders was to miss any time they'll need to get the running game in order because Sanders is their most reliable option at WR for those 3rd and 5 types of plays. Still they did manage 150+ on the ground in 33 attempts yesterday. I think that will be a big key for them. Their defence is hands down the best in the league, I want to see that unit at close to full health go up against New England and Green Bay.

Realistically I think the AFC playoff teams are set right now. Denver, New England, Cincinatti, and Indy are winning their Divisions. The Jets and Steelers will be the two Wild Card teams. Everyone else...is lousy, or good enough at not making those 2 plays a game they need to in order to win...cough San Diego, cough Cleveland. I have to admit that I underestimated the Jets offence, and if Roethlisberger gets back, maybe Pittsburgh can move in on the Bengals, who always look so good in the first 8 games of the season.

The NFC still has a bit to determine, but Atlanta, Carolina, and Green Bay are all going to the playoffs. Arizona should make it as the NFC West winner although yesterday still shows me why I can't outright trust that team. Outside of that, I guess all the NFC West teams still have a shot at a second Wild Card berth along with Minnesota. But the Vikings seem to have a leg up having won 3 of their first 5. Seattle absolutely is in must win this week, and they are good at finding ways to lose the close games this year.
