I've been pissed with the Flames, but I've never been this upset. Not even close.
I have never been this optimistic about our future only to be humiliated on home ice by a squad I hate more than most things worth hating in this world.
We have won once -- and it was in overtime. We gave up 3 of 4 points to the freakin' Canucks to start the season.
THIS game was the game I looked forward to getting on track with. The game I could start to validate my optimism with.
But no. I watch McJesus treat our team like a bunch of garbage. All after I joked repeatedly to anyone that would listen isn't as great as everyone keeps waxing about. "The next Daigle!" I would joke to friends.
The 'Next Daigle' just carved the team I confidently talked playoffs about.
So yes. I've been around a while, and been frustrated. But I rarely let myself get ANGRY over sports. But right now? I'm actually angry.
