Still using and loving my Blackwidow at work. Both people to the left and right have been laid off so can I type noisily without affecting anybody

That's an interesting design for a split/ergo mechanical keyboard and makes me realize that most of the benefit is keeping the hands at an angle rather than having those smooth curves on all the key layouts. I recently tried the new Microsoft ergo keyboard and I couldn't type at all and my speed went from 100 WPM to 30 WPM. I realized that I don't need an ergonomic keyboard since my fingers are already positioned at an angle when I type.

If you don't type via the home keys in the rigid prescribed fashion, you don't really need an ergonomic keyboard.
