"Better"??? If Petan ends up being even half as good as Gaudreau then I would say that Jets fans should count that as a tremendous success.

this isn't the first time a Jets fan has made this comparison, and it strikes me as little more than wishful thinking. Yes, Petan is small, and yes, he possesses good hands and speed. But how many small, skilled players with gaudy juniour numbers have played in the NHL? How many have played and succeeded like Gaudreau?
It's a nauseating homerish-Jets-fans thing to do.
