The question I really liked was the sum of the numbers is greater or less than x but that turned out to be a wasted question.

The question I asked that I really didn't like was asking if there was a 9. That was dumb, and a waste. I should have gone straight to the next question of asking if the largest was even. I got a little cocky there by flushing out the 0.
I thought extra trying to figure out a question that would get me to decide between 1, 3, & 5 as the 2nd digit, but couldn't think up one. I wanted to ask a question that would guarantee I'd know, but couldn't get there, so I guessed at 3. I didn't think he was close enough that he could have gotten my number before I went through all three choices. I think he only had my 2nd digit, knew the 4th digit was 2 or 4, the 1st was 5, 7, 9 and the 3rd was 2, 4, 6, 8.
The sum question gave me a starting point. The sum of digits 0-9 is 45. I play a lot of KenKen puzzles, mostly on 9*9 boards, and 20 is a good spot to figure out where numbers go there if you are playing the game only with addition. If his total was over 20, it would have helped me out a lot.
