Right, but Johnny had just finished dominating the World Championship with high caliber NHL players. Burke was trying to suggest that "letting Johnny be who he was", was in fact a career minor leaguer or something. It was insulting to those of us that had followed Johnny's career to that point. We knew that Gaudreau had a very good chance of becoming an NHL hockey player. We had also witnessed many years of Theo Fleury getting along just fine. So why go off pontificating about how small Johnny was, as if it made a lick of difference? Probably because in his mind, it did.
