If the ultimate goal is to land a true #1 then the pick may be more helpful.

Ortio hasn't done enough to distinguish himself as leaps and bounds better than either Ramo or Hiller at this point, and that's what needs to happen for a rookie to take a veteran's job. Especially in net.
