I did give it a few shots with a hammer and flat screwdriver, but since I'm not 100% sure about the thread direction I stopped.

At least I know what it's called and what it looks like now. Just need to hit a shop and borrow. Who are the guys who make a big deal out of lending tools? They were advertising it on the radio and everything.
