Fans can choose to have hope or they can choose to predict doom. In cases like this the latter is probably going to end up being true - doesn't mean it isn't OK to have some hope.
But go ahead and keep predicting the bad outcomes that are also the most likely ones - and then come back and tell us all how you "told us so". Sure is impressive.

As for predicting teams to lose when they are down in a series, it varies from situation to situation. There are times when teams are down and it still appears that they have a legit chance to come back and win. There are also times when the writing is on the wall. This is, I think, a case of the latter. Jays used up their two best pitchers in their 2 home games and now have to pull a rabbit out of a hat on the road. I just don't see them suddenly recapturing the form they had when they were chasing down the AL East crown.
