In today's game, the Rangers effectively generated two runs in 14 innings (an arguably less if the MLB calls Odor out which he clearly was). The Jays gave away 2 runs in the first inning on ugly plays. Then Donaldson gave away another run in the 3rd by abandoning third base and advancing the runner, leading to a sac fly.

The Jays have given two games away. The Rangers momentum has had nothing to do with that. If they came here and pounded the ball around for 15 runs in two games you might have a leg to stand on (but you'd still be wrong and ignoring all the historical data), but the Rangers have limped to two victories when the Jays did everything they possibly could to lose them.
The Jays have given the Rangers two games? The team that has played better defensively and manufactured runs when people were on base has won both games.

The Rangers won only a few games less than the Jays since the All-Star Break. They are the only team in the AL that can say that. You can bring up whatever ridiculous stat you want to show how much better the Jays are, but the only thing that matters in sports is wins, and there's very little separating the two teams in that category post all-star.

The Jays signed up to play this team, and did so with a bunch of cold players who were shut down a week too early. Monumentally stupid management decisions, and they are going to pay for it. Makes me sick. Jays fans have waited 22 years for this, and in my opinion, management's actions leading up to the post season have pissed that away.
