This series is definitely far from over. Estrada and Dickey are both excellent pitchers. More importantly, the Rangers are likely throwing out two mediocre lefties with ERAs well north of 4 this season now that they are up 2-0. Neither Perez nor Holland have anywhere near even splits either - they both have pitiful numbers against righties for their career. If the Jays can't hit crap like that with the season on the line, it wasn't meant to be. And if the Rangers try and get fancy and go with Gallardo on short rest, great. There's not a lot of guys that can do it effectively and I don't think a mediocre pitcher like Gallardo is the guy to buck the numbers.
The problem is whether the Jays can settle down and just play their game. The ump had a major impact on the Jays' approach at the plate today, but that didn't change the fact that there were a ton of long swings even in pitchers counts. If the ump is terrible and putting you in bad counts you have to be able to adapt and just try and drive the ball low. The Jays approach all year was to trust the guy behind you to do damage - they haven't shown any of that in this series. Everyone wants to be the hero and it's just led to bad strikeouts and weak flies/pop-ups.
