I'm happy Glencross praised the Flames organization without reservation. Showed his own class by doing that.
Just a side note though; the Flames are damn classy. I remember the Flames did a tribute to Selanne during his last game at the dome, and he had no connection with the club whatsoever. They just recognized a truly great talent and gave credit where it was due. Not to mention the Iggy tribute during his return as well was, in my opinion, extremely well done.
I hope Glencross gets a contract this year when a prospect doesn't develop as hoped, or a vet goes down early with injury. Those few games in WSH didn't do him any favors, but I still think he's got some hockey left in the tank. Best of luck to him, and there's no shame in playing in Europe either. That is high level hockey.
