It is strange. I loved what I saw out of the Hudler-Frolik-Bennett line during preseason, and exactly the kind of line shake up necessary to prevent stagnation early in a season. 
 
Ferland looked just fine playing along side Monahan and Gaudreau. While Ferland may not be the ideal top 6 winger the Flames need, he does have enough skill to keep that line successful.  
 
As for Ramo, he faced a ton of rubber and let in at least one really bad goal. Not going to lynch him yet. But I am on the Hiller/Ortio side of this seasons great debate. With how fine an edge it is in the early performances in camp, any weakness shown by any goalie is going to get over magnified, Ramo was just the first out of the gate.
