The game gets better, you can overcome the pokechecks and the unlucky goals for the most part. there are layers of learning and a few faults.
1. Playing with AI forwards; the switching between teammates button often takes you to a player not immediately by the puck.
2. Playing with AI forwards; they are insansely slow to react. It breaks game immersion entirely because if you are able to actually switch to the player standing still in front of the puck a PC controlled forward will move and respond as if he's conscious. These two problems create what is an incredibly frustrating task of watching two offensive players stand still in front of the net staring blankly while flicking around between the d and the third forward.
3. Playing all online is equally frustrating, the passing is so tough that 5 people can rarely string a few passes together when it's possible with AI teammates.
