I find it annoying when people moan and groan about Bollig's play without taking into account his ROLE with the team. Coaching staff and management create roles, and different players fill the roles. He does a good job of his role.

And people can say what they want, but the playoffs are still a slightly different beast even in the "new NHL" and Bollig's role and style becomes more important in the playoffs. Last year, his value to the team increased in the post season and he did his role very well. We need him around, even if he doesn't end up playing every night in the regular season.
