This study seems to support the claim. Do you have anything that can counter these numbers?
I will say this. Guns don't kill people. Irresponsible people with guns kill people. Poor restrictions on access to guns allows irresponsible people access to guns and allow them to kill people. Gun control limits this access.
Australia is the best example of gun control laws having a positive impact on reducing gun violence. Keep the guns out of the hands of people and gun violence will disappear. Since doing so, Australia has not fallen into a totalitarian state where freedoms have been restricted and liberty lost.
