He produced very well in the AHL and has done nothing but impress in training camp. The guy has scored some decent goals and made some beautiful passes while still maintaining his physical dominance. Hartley has played him on the top 2 lines for games and he hasn't looked out of place.
Personally I think he would be dynamite on a 2nd line with Bennett and Frolik. Both Bennett and Ferland can play the crash and bang fore check game while Frolik brings a steady defensive presence on the ice and helps keep puck possession in the offensive zone (something Bennett will need in his first year playing centre).
