Well, what a coincidence. . . I just got this a few weeks ago and it really is great. Basically The Sadies played Lee's Palace for two nights straight in Toronto. The first night was just the band with some cameos by other family members. The second night had a bunch of guest stars performing with them including Neko Case and Jon Spencer. Just awesome stuff. . . I especially like the intro to the second night.
Another album I recently (several months ago I guess) is Islands - Return to the Sea. They seem to like using a bunch of different sounds to make music and it really works on songs like "Rough Gem" and "Don't call me Whitney, Bobby".
