They fell into the same Star Wars habit where the Empire was staffed by idiotic goons and the rebels were all supermen who couldn't die.

At the end of the day, this was supposed to be the first book of a trilogy where the New Order rises from the ashes of the old empire, but the same crap happened where the Empire lost ships and battles.

It was disappointing, When I look at the EU or legends series, the strong books really stood out. The old republic books with Bane, the Plageius book, the trilogy of books that included Dark Lord were all awesome, but this book was around the level of the Fate of the Jedi series which was trash.

Are you planning on reading Lost Stars?
