I've had a Kobo for a few years, like it a lot especially for travelling. And most of them can be used to borrow e-books from the Calgary Library, so it appeals to the cheapskate in me. My hold on Ready Player One should be available this week, and it's looking like I'll be up for The Martian at the same time. That is one drawback with borrowing, long waits for popular books then you have 3 weeks to power through them.

Great for reading in bed with the backlight, less disturbing the wife than leaving a lamp on. For chilling on the couch by the fire, I still like to have a real book around.
