I'm so baffled by this whole thing. The ex-lawyer would never say he doesn't believe the accuser. Having said that, he seemed to go out of his way to let the public know this has nothing to do with the veracity of the claim.
On the other hand of the other hand of the other hand, if the mother is sneaky, why drop the client? Granted he's not needed as he's only doing a service for the family and not actually the prosecutor, but it seems wholly weird and shows nothing we have seen can be believed at this point.
I still don't think the accuser is lying, but the credibility of damaged. I've never been sure Kane is lying either.
