I've now decided the land rush on "iPhone drop test" videos is my favourite thing ever. As of right now it appears there's
a dozen or so of these videos up on youtube, mostly from Australia.
Just imagine trying to explain this to some one from the past... heck even 10 years ago.
2015 guy: "Yeah Apple released a cell phone, it's a huge suceess"
2005 guy: "Whoa really? What's it cost?"
2015: "Oh about $900"
2005: "$900?! For a damn cell phone?! And people pay that?"
2015: "Yeah, some people even buy it with the express purpose of destroying it"
2005: "...."
2015: "So they can make money... on the internet"
It's absolute madness, and I love it.
