I've had success via all three at various points, and am going to propose within the next few weeks to my current GF, who I met on POF.
I feel I would have cleaned up if the first two were available when I was in high school/university (not even that long ago). But I guess not having them actually made you have to interact with girls in person.

PS - my sister was showing me some conversations she was having back and forth with guys on Tinder. She would think they're normal and would be down to meet up, and then they would say just the most ridiculous, idiotic thing to kill it (asking her over right away, etc). So a suggestion - if you go the online route, just be normal and not over-the-top horndog and you should be fine.
