What you do is send him down, humble him a little, hope he finds his game, and make him earn a call up. If not, you have to eat his salary or buy him out in the off-season. If he does make it back and play decently, you now have another contributing forward or at least someone who could be traded.
Plus, having a veteran or two among the forwards in Stockton is never a bad thing.

If he's sent down, I think that's it. Not too many guys get the message and make the comeback (like Setoguchi). Raymond isn't the bust Setoguchi is, but he does need to step it up. His problem is that he can't be an effective 4th liner - he can't play physically, and isn't an energy guy like Byron/Ferland/Jooris and he seems to need the ice time to get points (and he can't get that time on this team).
