These next 4 games will be the games where the young guys/bubble guys need to show what they can do. The 2 pre-season games before the real season starts are almost assuredly going to be tune-up games to let the veterans work on the details of the system and build some chemistry. There won't be any time for borderline players to showcase themselves at that point, but there might be time for 1 or 2 guys who are the final cuts to show what they have.
Tomorrow in Denver looks like a night for those who are ready to separate themselves from the rest of the group. 3 games back-to-back-to-back up to Saturday. I imagine you will see a LOT of cuts on Sunday.
Brodie's injury opens a spot on defense to start the season? Who wants it the most? I honestly hope the answer is that Wotherspoon seizes his opportunity and runs with it.
