Vehicle was tagged the next day and was gone a day or so later. I don't think it was towed however. I would imagine if the vehicle is registered to a property on that street they would likely do nothing, but in this case it wasn't registered to any household on the street.

Yep, you can always call Parking Authority. What seems to happen seems to depend on who answers the phone, in my experience. If you talk to someone and don't see that orange sticker appear in a day or two, try again.
If the vehicle is registered to someone on the street (or relatively close by), you will be out of luck, though.
