This is starting to become a major problem because only a few teams have quality depth at backup let alone the #3 spot. Not sure what the CFL can do about it -- maybe allow each team to carry a 4th string QB on the practice roster without using up a spot?

The obvious solution is to add more imports to the rosters to play on the line. You have raw Canadians trying to handle experienced, very good Americans who are nearly NFL calibre and the QBs are getting killed.
