Step forward will be Colborne. I just thought he seemed to get it at the end of the season last year and he is bigger after training hard this offseason.
Step back will be Russel. I just don't think he will get the same amount of playing time with Gio back and Hamilton added to the mix. He will continue to be solid when he does play.
I agree with a few people above that Brodie will be in the mix for the Norris trophy. Who knows, maybe we see a Hamilton/Brodie pairing before a Gio/Hamilton pairing. All I know is nothing at this point, I can only hope and pray that our top 6 dmen stay healthy.
