Duhatschek article on Giordano.
Joe Colborne was talking about leadership styles and how they can vary from team to team and individual to individual. There is the outgoing, trash-can-throwing style, popularized by Mark Messier and others, players who wear their hearts very publicly on their sleeves. Then there are the strong, silent types, who lead through their actions as opposed to their words.
According to Colborne, the Calgary Flames’ captain Mark Giordano fits snugly into the latter category.
So lucky to have this guy.
