All of the recievers that were running way downfield have to get back to the line of scrimmage. Which liekly couldn't happen.
A snap for a false start would have been an automatic 10 second runoff ending the game.
Technically, I believe, the Recievers could all get set downfield, even though they are way beyond the line of scrimmage, and on the snap - the flag would be for illegal formation, which would cost 5 yards, but would stop the clock and not result in a 10 second runoff - giving the recievers time to get back to the line of scrimmage.
