Her name gets trashed just by charges being pressed. In a system where it is innocent until proven guilty it is on her to prove she isn't lying rather than him prove he's not a rapist. Prosecutors will destroy these poor women on the stand and tear apart their entire lives to to provide doubt.
There is also a significant difference between murder and rape cases, it's easier to prove someone killed someone than raped them because in a rape case all things like DNA evidence will prove is if intercourse occurred. In the end every rape case is he said/she said and whoever tells the most convincing story will win.
