Managing baseball is about choices. You want to replace a guy? He's gone for the game. You get 25 players to choose from.
Then we get to September and #### that! Let everybody play!
Yes it's the same for all teams, but it is a stupid, stupid rule that takes all of the management skill and strategy out of the game.
Bad pitching decision? No problem, we have 14 more relievers!
Close game? No problem - pinch hit for a guy, then replace him with a base runner, then replace him with a defensive specialist! And then we can do it all again next inning!
