Get an LG Blu Ray player. That's what I use in my trailer. It plays anything I can throw at it, including DVD and BD. but what makes it special is that it has a 12 volt input. So you can use it while dry camping.

Edit- this is the current model. http://www.visions.ca/Catalogue/Cate...7333&sku=BP350 Pair it with a 1 GB external hard drive, and you have your solution for under $200.

If your tv isn't 12 volt- look at 19" RCA or Proscan.
