Just curious what others have done in the mean time to fill in the gap? Right now there is some sand and rock on it, my builder tried but it isn't good enough. Crushed rock is a bit expensive and my understanding is it will have to come out for the driveway anyway. I was thinking some type of gravel mixture with some concrete slabs right in front of the steps to help keep things organized.
Try crushed concrete, Cardel was using it for bases on driveways and garages. Some local preppers as well. Say it packs better than road crush.
