I'll ask the same question - do you support dumping raw sewage into the ocean.
If you say yes, I have no problem - though I strongly disagree.
If you say no... but it's OK for 'me' to do it, then I take issue.
Lack of scientific evidence to the contrary does not make it ok, unless you want to sound like big tobacco from back in the day. We also once filled the walls/floors of our homes with carcinogens, when there was no credible evidence to the contrary. I'm sure I can throw garbage out the window of my vehicle (nature does a great job of breaking it down, you know) without doing irreparable harm to the environment. It's simply becomes a question of moral responsibility.
If you think dumping raw sewage into the ocean is OK, I believe you are wrong.
If you think dumping raw sewage is wrong, but it's OK for me - then I don't know what to say to you.

This is a really bizarre way looking at things. This isn't even comparable to big tobacco because there have actually been scientific studies by unbiased, independent scientists who have found that the current method is not harmful to the environment. Standing on some objective moral principle that somehow transcends evidence-based research makes zero sense to me.
