Holy spin:

Conservative Leader Stephen Harper addressed the dismissal of the two controversial candidates Monday, saying it speaks to the quality of candidates the party demands. He added that they will be replaced.
“We expect the highest standards of our candidates and that's why these two individuals are no longer there,” he said.
Anna Sajnovic, a Conservative party volunteer in the GTA, said in an interview “of course it looks bad but we got rid of them so I think it says a lot about the integrity” of the party's campaign.
