Which begs the question, why re-sign in Calgary?

“Everything is good here,” said the 29-year-old veteran of 122 NHL games with Calgary and the Tampa Bay Lightning (2006-2009). “I don’t know why to not sign here again. He’s also healthy, too, and that matters.

The last two training camps, Ramo has been injured in some fashion. But, reporting a clean bill of health on Thursday, the six-foot-two, 206-pound product of Asikkala is ready for the year and excited about the changes Flames general manager Brad Treliving made in the off-season.
Excited to see the crease battle play out this year!
