Roku hardcover googles DNS (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4) thereby defeating unblockus's workaround DNS. He way to make it work is to describe a "static route" in your routers configuration. Unblockus's describes how to do that for most common routers. Unfortunately if your router model is not listed you will have to research how to modify your router. Note that some routers do not allow static routes, including most prominently Apple routers, and some Shaw issued modems. I would suggest replacing the router, or in Shaws case bridging the modem and installing a compatible router. Just my two cents. I have a shaw connection and have US Netflix on Roku 3.
