Those are some beauties! I was talking to a couple real old boys that were fishing on the Oldman here a month ago or so, and they were talking about how when they were younger Dolly's were the dominant species in the creeks, it's all they used to catch. The one fellow said when he was young that if they were under 18" they got put back because they were not worth their time... Too small he said.
Would be nice to see the Dolly's make a comeback, and I think they are. Love catching cutthroats but when you find just the right fly nothing gets as aggressive as a dolly. It's funny when you see a big pig in a hole and he seems to spend all his time chasing cutthroats around.
