This country put men on the moon.
It could get rid of guns if it wished. Something like 75% of Americans support stricter gun regulation as well.
Sadly there are only 2 parties here, and both are beholden to big business... like the NRA. Which is as "grassroots" as the tea party.
After Sandy Hook it was clear the gun lobby has won, and the cost the rest of us get to pay is the everyday mass shootings from now till forever.
