Dr. Briton at Broadway Dental, in Saskatoon. I looked it up because I was curious, it was $4678.00 after all was said and done. The first set of retainers was supplied, however they do eventually stretch out. So I ordered another set about 3 years ago that he covered, cost was $350. If it is the same as when I did it you get 3 retainers (top/bottom) and each one will last you about 1.5-2 years before it is to worn out. I generally rotate mine every year.
Ivisalign isn't for everyone, it is generally only for those who don't need major corrections which is usually cosmetic appearance only. If your dentist let you get them when you should have had actual braces then I would not be giving that dentist any more of my business.
Definitely worth getting a few opinions from different dentists. And ask about the cost of the retainers being included, because I know for a friend it was not. This was my last 'free' set, after this it is out of my own pocket but that still saved me $700 total.
