Are you anticipating Gio being traded his last year? Gio was extended for 6 years, not signed for 6 years.
Out of curiosity, how rare is it to see players stripped of Captaincy but stay playing with the same team? Of late I can only think of Thornton which was a big mistake seeing how they didn't give it to anyone else..
