Just because there's no proof that he did it, doesn't mean the complaint had no merit. In any event, it would be even more difficult to prove a false allegation. If they could prove it (highly unlikely), I am sure they would pursue charges. If there was any proof of false allegations, I imagine it would have surfaced through he course of the Kane investigation.
