If they're gone and a goalie is our system doesn't step up then we'd have to fill that hole with another higher paid UFA or two.
Didn't say I was worried either just said it would ease up some cap space if Oritio stepped up this season. He's 24 now and is waiver eligible in the fall, yeah there's no rush but after flirting with it the past two years you'd expect him to be an NHL player this year.
Ortio is a RFA this summer but probably won't command the 3.5-4.5 Ramo or Hillier gets, so him making the jump would free up some cash next year. That's all I was saying.
