A note of caution to MLS hopefuls, though. MLS frowns on multiple use facilities. They made Houston build a dedicated soccer only stadium (TDECU) for the Dynamo.

I'm no fan of multi-use stadiums, but youre right about soccer/football. Centurylink in Seattle is a great example of how 1 stadium can be used for both.
Skydome, not so much.
