The last time Metallica came through town they still came but it was a "lesser" show than the rest of the tour. Their in the round stage had to be on one side of the arena and not in the middle and they had to leave out some of the pyro and other special effects due to limitations of the building.
I saw the show in Calgary and Edmonton and while not a big deal they got the full show up there where as Calgary was scaled back a bit.
