30-40 min drive each way (All time low about 26 min, all time high about 80 min).
Castleridge to Westhills area.
On the way to work - generally my route is 64th Ave - Metis Trail - McKnight Blvd - Deerfoot - Glenmore - Sarcee - Richmond Road.
On the way home, my route is generally Richmond Road - Sarcee - Glenmore - Deerfoot - Memorial - Barlow - McKnight - Metis - 64th Ave.
I don't always go directly between home and the office though. Also, I usually check Google maps prior driving each way - which can alert me to take a different route. I've pretty much used every major North South route in the city at some point (from Stoney on the west side to 100th Street E on the east side), and pretty much every East West route North of Glenmore at some point.
All in costs, probably around $500 per month, which is mostly covered by my car allowance which covers me using my personal vehicle to travel to jobsites and meetings, etc.
I wish my commute was shorter, but it's a great job, and housing prices are rediculous in the area considering that I'd probably still choose to live in the NE even if the prices were the same.
