I just finished reading Jon Krakauer's new book Missoula about the rape scandal surrounding the football team at the University of Montana from a few years back.
It's a pretty incredible reads and tells the stories of several women from the University of Montana to illustrate the problems faced by rape victims nationwide in persuading police and prosecutors to pursue their cases - especially when the perpetrators are high profile athletes.
I would highly recommend it to everyone in this thread; especially after reading some of the garbage that has been thrown about in here.
